Brook Dorff

Project Happiness

As Director of Operations and Development for Project Happiness, Brook Dorff oversees the general operations of the organization both in the United States and abroad. She is responsible for organizational development initiatives as well as day-to-day operations.

Brook brings to Project Happiness her 10 plus years of experience in international development and non-profit management. Over this time, Brook has worked in almost 20 countries with organizations including the World Health Organization, the United Nations, Amnesty International, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. She has also written and been awarded several large-scale grants providing close to one million dollars in funding for social impact initiatives in the United States, India, and the Dominican Republic.

Always interested in the confluence of health education and social causes, Brook holds a Masters in Social Justice and Human Rights, a Bachelor’s degree in Public Health Education, and is a Certified Health Education Specialist.

Throughout her travels, she has seen first hand that despite divisive factors including race, religion, politics and caste, human emotion is universal and happiness is a basic human right. When she’s not in the office, you can find Brook out in nature, playing the piano, teaching Pure Barre, and dancing.
